United House Solutions was established in 1997 as the investment arm of the Group, with the task of providing bespoke funding and structuring services. UHS raises finance to deliver effective and innovative solutions for PFI and large Public Private Partnerships (PPP) regeneration projects, as well as development activities for Modern City Living. We are now industry leaders in UK Housing PFI and, despite operating only in the southeast of England, we have built a national market share of 25%.
Partners for Improvement
UHS formed and own Partners for Improvement (now known as Partners), a consortium that bids for

major projects within the HRA PFI housing industry.
In these activities, we act as lead arranger and equity provider and, with three projects underway, Partners has already secured contracts worth nearly £1 billion. As lead sponsor, we not only manage the consortium during the bidding process, but also take a major equity stake in each project.
Bid management
We take the lead in forming the bespoke consortia to bid for these projects. On appointment as preferred bidder the UHS team will also lead negotiations with the client and sub-contractors.
