United House selected for Mole Valleys HA's first refurbishment

Leading social housing contractor United House Limited has been selected to undertake £20 million worth of refurbishment to 2000 properties on behalf of the newly formed Mole Valley Housing Association, part of Circle Anglia.

United House, along with The Apollo Group, will refurbish properties across Mole Valley in Surrey involving kitchen, bathroom, window and front door replacement, central heating installation and rewiring to ensure all homes meet the Decent Homes Standard.

United House will undertake the refurbishment work over the next five years with a possible five year extension. The improvements form part of the first refurbishment programme for Mole Valley Housing Association, formed in October last year after residents voted for transfer of housing stock from Mole Valley District Council.

Managing Director of United House Limited Colin Dixon said: “We are delighted to have been selected to undertake the first refurbishment programme for Mole Valley Housing Association and are confident the improvements will make a major difference to the quality of life for many people. This programme builds on our existing relationship with Circle Anglia where we are also undertaking a refurbishment programme in Bishop Stortford. We now hope this will be the beginning of a successful and mutually rewarding long-term partnership with Mole Valley Housing Association.”
