United House launches innovative talent management academy
United House has recently launched an innovative talent management 'Academy' aimed at developing current front line staff to become the 'leaders of tomorrow'. Over the coming months, United House is committed to adopting a more pro-active approach to training with a programme which links their Performance Management System and newly created Training and Development plans for individuals, departments, regions and the company as a whole. By focusing on developing talent within the company, United House aims to create strong links between departments and regions and to engender a skilled workforce which will benefit the business long term.
After a thorough selection process involving a psychometric assessment, ability testing and a structured interview, 9 individuals were selected for the inaugural 'Academy' which commenced with a launch event in March 2008.
The programme includes:
A comprehensive individual 18 month training schedule.
A series of workshops, developing management and strategic leadership skills, in partnership with THALES.
Individual Mentoring from United House Directors.
Executive Coaching.
A thorough measurement of its impact through 360 degree questionnaires and project work.
