United House Creates Specialist Construction Team

Throughout our 45 year history, United House has earned a reputation for delivering high quality, innovative solutions for challenging and diverse housing projects across the South East. In response to the current, and growing, demand for increasing levels of housing supply, we have created a specialist team within the construction & refurbishment business.
Based at our head office in Swanley, this team is led by Ron Roberts, our Partnership Director, and will focus on mixed tenure regeneration projects requiring cross-subsidy funding in partnership with Local Authorities, ALMOs and RSLs. Ron is supported by Anne-Britt Karunaratne, Regeneration Manager, and Christopher Dawes, Development Manager, both of whom bring a track record of successful delivery of new homes in London and the South East.
The new team are already hard at work, with their first projects in Hounslow and Haringey well advanced. In Hounslow, United House tendered successfully for a Framework Agreement to provide replacement new rented properties for Hounslow Homes. The first two sites will deliver a total of 300 new quality homes for rent, shared ownership and private sale. The scheme at Tottenham Town Hall, Haringey will see the construction of 148 new units of various tenures as well as improved facilities for the local community.
