Waste management
We are introducing Site Waste Management Plans across our construction sites - predominately new build at the moment. These plans help improve our identification of different waste streams and strategies for dealing with them. We are pioneering the BRE SMARTstream tool, which benchmarks performance in the industry.
Supply chain
Together with suppliers of all major building materials, we ensure that our practices have minimal environmental impact.

We work with our Sustainable Timber suppliers on their procurement processes to ensure that all our timber is certified to FSC/PEFC/CSA/SFI.
Energy consumption
To minimise our energy consumption we are introducing electric powered vehicles for RLO movements on suitable projects including fixed sites.
EcoHomes
We have an in-house EcoHomes Assessor, which allows us to carry out assessments internally and use his knowledge and experience during the earliest stages of our projects.
Our Sustainable Design Study brings together key industry players to discuss the cost implications required by the Code for Sustainable Homes.
