Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
At United House, we are proud of our commitment to contributing to the communities in which we work. We regard this involvement as a vital adjunct to our new build, refurbishment and regeneration work.

CSR in United House
The guiding principles of CSR are at the heart of everything we undertake. We work hard at developing our people, systems and procedures to make us both more efficient and more responsible in the way we operate. Following these principles has lead to considerable success but we recognise that the improvement has to be continuous.
Committing more resources to CSR
The industry's shift towards long-term strategic relationships has enabled us to commit ever more resources to CSR.
The increased security of these projects means that we can instigate and invest in training programmes, apprenticeships and other community schemes that are of real and lasting benefit to us all.

Managing CSR within United House
The impetus for our work in this area is the CSR Committee. Chaired by Jeffrey Adams, Group Chief Executive, it includes directors, senior managers and representatives from across the business.
The Committee establishes priorities and sets targets against which United House are measured - it meets quarterly and reports to the Group Board:
