United House Solutions is our investment and complex procurement arm, providing long-term investment and management solutions for the Group and its clients across United House’s PPP, PFI, regeneration and development activities.

Using United House’s financial strength to invest in projects, we successfully lever fund commitment with a portfolio of funders and equity providers to secure full project funding. Despite the current challenging financial market, our strong investment track record ensures that we continue to enjoy the support of a number of major banks and investors enabling us to fulfill the needs of the Group.

The team has a breadth of cross sector bid, project and financial expertise that enables it to fund and deliver a diverse range of housing projects; general needs (HRA and non-HRA), residential care, extra care, student accommodation and cross subsidy estate regeneration for residential and mixed use developments.

Key to our success is our ability to create and lead bespoke consortia for individual projects. Drawing on the intellectual talent pool of United House and a team of specialist advisors, funding and supply chain partners, we place a huge emphasis on building a winning team from day one to deliver a successful final project.

In Housing PFI, we formed the ‘Partners For Improvement’ brand to gain recognition for the core values that a United House led bid can bring. Testament to our collaborative approach and position as an industry leader is the fact that we are more colloquially referred to as simply, ‘Partners’.

Our responsibility as lead sponsor and bid manager is to deliver our client’s needs through managing each of the procurement, investment, construction and operation phases. To do this we work with regular core partners, such as the Lloyds Banking Group, and specific local and national suppliers to create the optimum solution for a particular project. We were instrumental in negotiating the first ever UK Housing PFI to start on site and currently have three successful PFI consortia delivering complex and extensive refurbishment in the London Boroughs of Islington and Camden.
